Vaginismus Treatment

In the 1850s, it was thought that vaginismus was caused by a problem in the woman's thinking and perception system. Over the years, it has been observed that the complaints of the women who were followed up and treated for this complaint were actually involuntary muscle contractions that closed the vaginal entrance, and when this muscle contraction was resolved, it was possible for the woman to have intercourse.
